ATD Master Instructional Designer Project
The ATD Master Instructional Design certification is an advanced-level program that aligns learning solutions with business objectives. The Association for Talent Development (ATD) is a professional membership organization supporting those who develop the knowledge and skills of employees in organizations around the world.
I engaged in an eight-week cohort experience, during which I explored the practical application of instructional design principles, collaborated with peers, and demonstrated proficiency through real-world projects.
This capstone project detailed a comprehensive instructor-led training program focused on creating courses, managing rosters, and developing content in a learning management system (LMS).
Cognitive Blueprints: Final Report
Our instructional design team created a digital workout logbook for our client at Professional Academic Solutions for Success (PASS), a training development company. The client sought a way to track fitness routines, workouts, goals, and achievements in a platform that could be both printed and stored electronically, but not housed in an app.
As a program analyst, I engaged with the client to grasp their requirements, crafted work breakdown structures to delineate our tasks, guided the team in various project management functions, formulated content for the digital logbook, and delivered the final project presentation to the client.
Ultimately, the client was highly impressed and most appreciative with our final product and recommendations.
